Who we are

StrokeLINK is a specialist nurse programme which provides post- hospital care to stroke patients. This programme started in 2019. It is currently being piloted in The Mater Hospital, Dublin, Ireland

Our mission

1 in 5 people will have stroke in their lifetime. StrokeLINK was developed in response to stroke patients feeling afraid, ill-prepared and unsure where to turn to for help after going home from hospital
Our goal

While StrokeLINK is currently only available to patients in The Mater Hospital, the service has developed this website so that stroke patients and their carer partner can access stroke specific information which has been written by healthcare professionals
